By Rail

INTER-CITY rail is definitely the most-relaxing way to travel from Dublin to Cork – and the beauty of Kent Station is that it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the River Lee and Cork’s city centre.

The station is being redeveloped and modernised as part of the City’s Docklands Strategy.

At the same time, €4 million is being spent by Irish Rail on more and better local services, whilst the Cork-Dublin line now operates an hourly service throughout the day.
