By Bus
Getting around Cork City and County by bus couldn’t be easier.
If you’re arriving at the airport, there’s a bus every 30 minutes from Arrivals to the main hotel and B&B areas. And from Kent Railway Station, the frequent Number 5 service will bring you the short distance to the City Centre.
In the greater Cork area, there are currently 18 routes serving the city, as well as 17 suburban routes. And over the next ten years or so, €18 million is to be spent developing a system of bus corridors to improve the efficiency of the network.
And if your sights are set outside the city boundaries, Bus Éireann has a network of buses running from Parnell Place to towns all over the county … and beyond.
